HDR currently has an opening for a Senior Proposal Coordinator to support our power and waste teams in the southeast region. In the role of Senior Proposal Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning)
  • Facilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materials
  • Develop and manage proposal schedules and confirm compliance
  • Engage the appropriate marketing services resources in pursuit teams
  • Write non-technical text, and edit and proofread all marketing communications
  • Provide storyboarding and message development for strategic pursuits
  • Be responsible for timely production and quality of marketing communications
  • Actively participate in content for business group and marketing materials development
  • Coordinate trade show participation
  • Develop conference concepts, promotions and artwork, and coordinate booth activities
  • Act in Project Manager role as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications
 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works cooperatively with diverse teams, regional, department, national, technical managers and project staff
  • Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
  • Requires little or no direction in area of specialization
  • Must exhibit proficient technical computer skills, advanced knowledge of communication theory and basic layout and design principles
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Demonstrates understanding of market and public relations
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism or another related field
  • Knowledge of the A/E/C industry’s standard approach to procurement of professional services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person
  • Demonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff
