Primary Responsibilities

HDR is continuing to grow our Marketing team throughout the South Atlantic Area (NC, SC, GA). HDR is looking to hire a Proposal Coordinator to join our Water Business Group. The Proposal Coordinator will coordinate and prepare submissions from the point of decision to client delivery, while working as part of a Marketing team to engage with Project Managers to write and edit text, develop layout, and coordinate graphics and text for proposals, presentations, and other marketing material. In the role of Proposal Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Coordinate proposal submissions from start to finish
  • Develop and coordinate graphics
  • Provide storyboarding and message development for strategic pursuits
  • Write non-technical text, and edit and proofread all marketing communications
  • Be responsible for timely production and quality of marketing communications
  • Maintain and coordinate updated data in company systems, including images, resumes, project descriptions, contacts, and skill-sets inventory
  • Interface with people both inside and outside the firm to fulfill job requirements
  • Coordinate trade show participation and develop conference concepts, promotions/artwork, and coordinate booth activities
  • Work cooperatively with diverse teams
  • Develop social media graphics, presentations, and other printed materials
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications
 

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience

• A minimum of 1 year document layout and production experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign

• Experience in proposal planning and coordination a must

• Writing ability, strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

• Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success

• Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional styles

• Previous experience in the A/E industry strongly desired

• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree Marketing preferred
